Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has won two new long-term vessel contracts in Brazil.
The company said that its 2001-built Skandi Carla and the 2006-built Geoholm have been contracted on four-year charters with Brazilian state-owned oil and gas giant Petrobras.
The two new deals originated from the same competitive tender process that led to the four-year charter contract for the Skandi Achiever in late June.
Skandi Carla will operate with one work-class ROV and subsea crane, while the Geoholm will utilise its subsea crane and two work-class ROVs on board. The two contracts have a combined value of over $275m.
Both vessels are expected to commence their contracts in December 2025, and all three will operate as remotely operated vehicle support vessels (RSVs).
