DHL eCommerce and Allegro, Poland’s e-commerce platform, have strengthened their collaboration by forming a strategic partnership that integrates DHL’s delivery services into the Allegro Delivery program.

This initiative enables Allegro customers to leverage DHL’s extensive logistics network, which includes DHL BOX 24/7 parcel lockers, DHL POP pickup points, and courier services. The partnership is designed to enhance convenience and accessibility for online shoppers, aligning with evolving market trends and customer preferences.

Agnieszka Świerszcz, CEO of DHL eCommerce Poland, commented, “Introducing our parcel lockers, pickup points and courier deliveries to the Allegro Delivery program is an important step for us and an example of our efforts to meet the dynamically growing needs of the e-commerce market in Poland. By supporting programs such as Allegro Delivery we are ensuring fast, convenient and reliable deliveries for both shoppers and retailers.”

The Allegro Delivery program, introduced to provide seamless delivery solutions, offers customers multiple options: parcel lockers, pickup points, or direct home delivery. Under this program, Allegro assumes complete responsibility for the parcel’s journey, from dispatch to managing complaints or returns. By centralizing the delivery process, Allegro ensures a streamlined experience for both buyers and sellers, serving as a single point of contact throughout.

Through this collaboration, Allegro users are expected to gain improved access to DHL’s reliable and efficient delivery solutions, simplifying their online shopping experience. DHL eCommerce, known for its robust network of parcel lockers, state-of-the-art sorting facilities, and commitment to sustainability, continues to lead in providing affordable and dependable parcel delivery services across Poland.

In addition, the expansion of last-mile logistics, particularly in out-of-home delivery options like parcel lockers and pickup points, addresses the growing consumer demand for faster, more flexible, and environmentally friendly delivery methods. This trend is especially pronounced in Poland, where 64% of online shoppers prefer parcel lockers over home delivery, according to the latest DHL Online Shopper Trends Report.

With the Polish e-commerce market projected to grow at an annual rate of 9.63%, reaching US$36.13 billion by 2029, and 96% of shoppers citing delivery options as a key factor in their purchasing decisions, partnerships like the one between DHL and Allegro are crucial to meeting future demands.
