Crane Worldwide Logistics UK has announced an expansion of its warehouse capacity in the Midlands, driven by strategic growth in contract logistics services. The company has secured an additional facility to accommodate increasing demand.
Located in Wellesbourne near Birmingham Airport, the company’s multi-user facility provides pick, pack, and ship services. The warehouse also offers a range of value-added services such as labelling, tagging, and SKU transformation, supported by seamless in-house Warehouse Management System (WMS) integration and comprehensive 360° client reporting.
The new facility, situated within Wellesbourne Industrial Park, will add over 5,100 square meters of space to Crane’s Midlands operations. This complements the company’s broader 3PL logistics offerings across the UK, which include global freight forwarding and specialized services like Time-Critical air freight and X-ray screening.
With logistics hubs at London Heathrow and Manchester, Crane Worldwide provides comprehensive global freight forwarding solutions, leveraging its international network to support UK shippers with import and export needs. Additionally, its Aberdeen hub strengthens the company’s presence in Scotland, focusing on the energy, projects, and renewable sectors.
“Our growing 3PL presence in the United Kingdom is a testament to the dedication of our people, who have developed strong partnerships with our clients,” comments David Burck, Managing Director UK at Crane Worldwide.
