CNC has rolled out key upgrades to the CP2 and JP8 services, strengthening connections between the Philippines, China, and Japan. The changes improve schedule reliability and expand options for reefer cargo and fresh produce.
The CP2 service now operates on an optimised port rotation: Shekou, Hong Kong, Nansha, Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, and back to Shekou. The revised rotation replaces Manila North with Cebu, improving transit predictability and service reliability.

Moreover, the first voyage under the new rotation will be operated by Zhong Gu Bo Hai on voyage 2CP61S1NC, with an estimated arrival in Shekou on December 22, 2025. The service offers direct links from Cebu, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro to Hong Kong and South China, supporting time-sensitive perishable cargo.
Also, the JP8 service has also been enhanced with the addition of Cagayan de Oro. The updated rotation now covers Tokyo, Yokohama, Kobe, Moji, Shekou, Nansha, Subic Bay, Batangas, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, and returns to Tokyo.

The first voyage on the revised JP8 service will be operated by Kuo Lin on voyage 0P80NS1NC, arriving in Tokyo on December 14, 2025. Lastly, the expanded rotation improves access to East Japan and creates new opportunities for reefer shipments from the southern Philippines.
