CMA CGM has taken another significant step in its energy transition with the naming of the CMA CGM ANTIGONE.
The vessel joins the Group’s growing fleet of dual-fuel methanol ships.
Captain Zhang Zequan will command the vessel, while Harriet Wu, former CFO of CMA CGM China, served as the Godmother during the ceremony.
The CMA CGM ANTIGONE will operate on the BEX2 service, linking Asia, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean. The ship will help strengthen key trade corridors and support more sustainable global logistics.
The new vessel marks another milestone in CMA CGM’s efforts to connect regions while reducing emissions. Fair winds and safe sailing to the ANTIGONE and her crew.
