CMA CGM Unveils CEIBA Express Service, Establishing Direct Weekly Connectivity Between Florida and Key Destinations in Venezuela, Colombia, Honduras, and Guatemala.
French ocean carrier CMA CGM has introduced CEIBA Express, a new direct weekly service that links Florida with major ports in Venezuela, Colombia, Honduras, and Guatemala. The service, featuring prominent ports such as Port Everglades, Kingston, La Guaira, Puerto Cabello, Cartagena, Puerto Cortes, and Santo Tomas, aims to bolster maritime connections and logistics solutions.

The inaugural voyage, led by the vessel Hansa Salzburg, is set to embark from Port Everglades on January 14, 2024, and from Puerto Cortes on January 30, 2024. Departures from Guatemala are strategically scheduled on Thursday mornings, facilitating efficient packing of mid-week productions for growers.
The service highlights three weekly departures from Colombia to Florida (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday). Florida, in turn, offers a direct link to Venezuela’s major ports, providing a third departure per week to Latin America while ensuring swift connections in Kingston.
CEIBA Express offers intermodal solutions, ensuring rapid service in Honduras and Guatemala at the origin, as well as in Florida at the destination. This comprehensive service is tailored to enhance connectivity and operational efficiency throughout the specified regions.
