Circle S.p.A., an innovative SME listed on Euronext Growth Milan, has strengthened its predictive solutions for ports and intermodal hubs with the Milos® Intelligence suite. The upgrade integrates the company’s Milos® TAP (Truck Appointment Platform) and Milos® TFP (Transport Federative Platform) digital tools.
The enhancement is part of a national innovation program aimed at modernizing port operations. By June 2026, the system will add features such as hazardous goods management, supervision of common areas, customs interoperability, predictive traffic flow management, an environmental dashboard, passenger tracking, and advance vehicle notifications. The goal is to streamline port logistics, reduce manual errors, cut waiting times, and promote sustainable intermodal transport.
Milos® TAP allows intelligent booking of terminal access slots for road hauliers, improving vehicle flow. Milos® TFP tracks traffic and supports dynamic simulations, helping operators manage congestion and unforeseen events. Both platforms feed predictive models powered by AI and machine learning, enabling accurate forecasts of arrivals, stops, and flows.
A key feature is the Digital Twin system, a real-time virtual model of vehicle movements on a georeferenced map. It helps identify bottlenecks early and guides targeted interventions to boost operational efficiency.
Luca Abatello, CEO of Circle Group, said: “Our solutions give ports concrete tools to tackle intermodality and sustainability challenges. By transforming complex logistics flows into actionable insights, we help optimise resources, reduce congestion, and meet national and European environmental goals.”
