The Vienna Consolidation service, developed jointly by cargo-partner and Nippon Express, provides shipping solutions from Japan to multiple destinations in Central and Eastern Europe.

The Less-than-Container Load (LCL) Vienna Consolidation service was developed to provide a seamless connection between Japan and 26 destinations across Central and Eastern Europe, including Vienna, Graz, Linz, Innsbruck, Zagreb, Bratislava, Prague, Budapest, Warsaw and Poznan.

Shipments from major Japanese hubs (Yokohama, Nagoya, Kobe, Hakata and Moji) are trucked to Tokyo for consolidation and then shipped directly to Hamburg before being moved to Vienna for final distribution, notes cargo-partner.

From origin to destination, cargo-partner and the Nippon Express Group (NX Group) oversee all aspects of the transport process. Upon arrival in Hamburg, Germany, containers are transferred to Italy’s Vienna CFS (Container Freight Station), where they are unloaded, sorted, and prepared for delivery to their final destinations.

cargo-partner said the Vienna Consolidation service offers significant benefits, such as improved transit times, enhanced cargo visibility, and flexible consolidation options – all designed to provide customers with a more efficient and reliable shipping experience.
