C.H. Robinson is expanding access to its industry-leading Item-Level Solutions, making them available to its entire global customer base.

These solutions offer unprecedented end-to-end visibility and control across supply chains at the most granular level: by individual item or SKU.

Customers can track goods in motion or at rest, manage orders and inventory with unmatched precision, and gain real-time insights that enhance planning, reduce costs, and improve customer service.

Companies using Item-Level Solutions have reported savings of 10–30% on supply chain-related expenses.

The decision to scale up comes amid continued disruptions following the pandemic, coupled with rising demand for deeper supply chain visibility.

Between 2023 and 2024, usage of C.H. Robinson’s item-level digital purchase order management tools surged nearly 20-fold and is projected to double again in 2025. Over the past three years, the company has also experienced a 300% increase in supply chain design projects driven by item-level data.

Arun Rajan, Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, explained that Item-Level Solutions links digital tools with physical operations to help businesses track, manage, and optimize every item, every step of the way. He also added that ongoing disruptions, AI-driven transformation, and rising customer expectations are creating a new logistics environment.

Key Features of C.H. Robinson’s Item-Level solutions include: Item-Level visibility, digital purchase order management, supply chain design and inventory optimization.
