The Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam (MPABD) has officially launched its national Maritime Single Window (MSW), a key digital platform developed in collaboration with Kale Logistics Solutions and its strategic partner, Primatel Communication Sdn Bhd.

The system is now live and operational across Brunei Darussalam.

The launch ceremony was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Brunei’s Minister of Transport and Infocommunications and Chairman of MPABD, who served as the Guest of Honour.

Yang Mulia Captain Zil Husam bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Chief Executive of MPABD, described the MSW launch as a significant milestone in Brunei’s ongoing digital transformation journey.

Brunei Darussalam has recently experienced a steady rise in maritime traffic, with 2024 recording the highest volume of ship movements to date.

The MSW is expected to significantly improve the efficiency of port clearance procedures, contributing to faster cargo processing and more responsive logistics operations.

The MSW system developed by Kale facilitates fully electronic handling of maritime trade data, allowing port authorities, shipping lines, customs, and logistics providers to interact through a unified digital interface.
