The Oslo- and New York-listed offshore driller Borr Drilling has revealed in its fleet status report that it secured new contracts and extensions for four of its jackups.
The 2018-built Natt has won a contract extension from Eni in Congo. The extension was scheduled to last from January 2026 to February 2026.
The rig has been working for Eni since August 2024. After the rig wraps up work for the Italian firm in Congo, it is set to begin work for Shell in Nigeria. The contract with Shell subsidiary SNEPCO will last from April 2026 until February 2027. SNEPCO also has options to extend the deal.
The 2013-built Idun had its contract with PTTEP in Thailand extended from February 2026 until April 2026. The rig has been working for PTTEP since February 2024.
The 2018-built Gunnlod won a new contract with the Thang Long Joint Operating Company (TLJOC) from May 2026 until July 2026 in Vietnam.
The rig will complete its contract with Hoang Long – Hoan Vu Joint Operating Company this month unless the company exercises its option to extend the work.
The 2019-built Njord won a letter of award for work from May 2026 to April 2028 with Pemex in Mexico. The rig has been working for Pemex since April 2024. The contract will end in April this year.
As of the fleet status report date, the Borr fleet comprises 29 modern jackups, all built after 2008. 25 of the 29 rigs are either contracted or committed – six in Southeast Asia, five in the Middle East and North Africa, five in West Africa, three in Europe, and six in the Americas.
The company’s backlog has increased from $1.13bn as of December 31, 2025, to $1.20bn as of Wednesday.
