Maersk Line has confirmed to Container News that one of its containers exploded in South Korea’s Incheon New Port.
The Danish mainline operator’s spokesperson told Container News that on 28 August at approximately 8:50pm local time, a Maersk container exploded while stored in the yard at Incheon Hanjin Container Terminal, prior to export.
