FTAI Aviation, a company specialising in power solutions for aircraft engines, has sold its offshore energy vessels to an undisclosed buyer for a sum of approximately $143m.
The sale of the Pioneer and Pride vessels is part of the company’s shift to concentrate on its core business operations, specifically the aftermarket needs of the CFM56 and V2500 commercial engine programs which are among the most widely used engines in commercial aviation.
