AD Ports Group has unveiled a blueprint titled “Building Human-AI Teams”, showing how it uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to transform port and logistics operations. The plan strengthens efficiency and supports growth across its global network.

The blueprint highlights agentic AI systems—autonomous digital co-workers that handle repetitive, data-heavy, and predictive tasks. This allows employees to focus on creativity, empathy, and strategic leadership. AD Ports Group embeds AI in operations, finance, HR, and logistics to create a hybrid human-AI workforce that delivers excellence and competitiveness.

Mohamed Jamal-Eddine, Group Chief Information Officer, said: “The workforce of tomorrow will combine humans and AI agents, each focusing on their strengths. The past decade advanced digitization and automation. The next decade belongs to agentic intelligence—AI that learns, adapts, and collaborates. This is already delivering results for us.”

AD Ports Group has deployed AI-powered agents across its business clusters with measurable results. The Vessel Speed Optimiser improves fuel efficiency by about 3% while maintaining 98% on-time arrivals. The Container Balancer increases container utilization by up to 90%, reducing costs and boosting revenue. The Intelligent Workforce Scheduler cuts HR processing and scheduling times by more than 90%, accelerating talent management.

These AI deployments improve efficiency and enable scalable growth. They help AD Ports Group remain resilient amid global trade shifts while meeting sustainability and customer goals.

Sultan Al Ghaithi, Group Chief Human Resources Officer, said: “Future talent at AD Ports Group must collaborate with AI agents. Recruitment now focuses on hybrid human-AI skills. This is not a distant vision. Our blueprint reshapes work by combining human ingenuity with AI.”

AD Ports Group stresses that AI will not replace humans. AI will augment daily tasks, freeing employees to focus on creative problem-solving, innovation, and relationship-building. The company is rolling out upskilling programs to ensure human expertise remains central to growth.

The blueprint, “Building Human-AI Teams: AD Ports Group’s Blueprint for Tomorrow’s Workforce,” is available on the AD Ports Group website, offering insights on the future of work and human-AI collaboration.
