AD Ports Group has partnered with Columbia Group, one of the global maritime and logistics service providers, to establish Noatum – CSM Limited.

This joint venture aims to enhance third-party vessel operations and optimize AD Ports Group’s ocean-going fleet using cutting-edge fleet management systems.

By combining Columbia Group’s expertise in AI-driven fleet optimization with AD Ports Group’s extensive maritime experience, the partnership integrates ship management into AD Ports Group’s Maritime & Shipping Cluster. This strategic move ensures world-class ship management services for clients worldwide.

Noatum – CSM Limited will have immediate access to Columbia Group’s Performance Optimisation Control Room (POCR), a state-of-the-art digital platform that enhances fleet performance, enables predictive maintenance, and ensures regulatory compliance. POCR provides real-time monitoring and decision-support tools to optimize voyages, fuel efficiency, and emissions control, leveraging data across multiple vessels for superior operational and commercial performance.

Captain Ammar Mubarak Al Shaiba, CEO of Maritime and Shipping Cluster at AD Ports Group, commented: “This partnership symbolises a pivotal advancement in maritime asset management, merging the strengths of Columbia Group and AD Ports Group. As we expand our capabilities, we are benefitting our clients by elevating quality and efficiency. We are committed to offering a holistic suite of services with exceptional operational competency and expertise, further fortifying our position as a global maritime service provider.”

Mark O’Neil, President and CEO of Columbia Group, stated: “This partnership marks a significant milestone in our shared vision to set new standards in maritime asset management. Combining Columbia’s global expertise with AD Ports Group’s strong presence in the Middle East will drive operational excellence and innovation in the region’s maritime sector. We look forward to building a sustainable and future-ready business together.”

Strategically headquartered in the UAE, the joint venture will oversee daily ship management operations and introduce crew management, procurement, training, and other key services. Noatum – CSM Limited aims to deliver best-in-class asset management, unlocking new capabilities and operational excellence for global clients.
