ABS has launched EagleTwin™, a web-based 3D digital twin solution designed for FPSO, FLNG, and FSRU operators. The new tool aims to improve safety, efficiency, and asset management across offshore operations.

EagleTwin creates an interactive 3D digital model of an offshore asset, giving owners real-time insights into structural health. It integrates inspection and Class data and connects with any Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support better repair and inspection decisions.

“EagleTwin addresses key challenges in offshore asset management and inspection planning,” said John McDonald, ABS President and COO. “By providing real-time insights into asset conditions and risks, the tool enhances safety, reduces downtime, and extends asset life. It helps operators make smarter decisions and protect long-term investments.”

The cloud-based system offers advanced 3D visualization of Class data and supports scalable digital twin management for compliance and safety. Built on a SOC Type 2-certified platform, it ensures top-level data security and is accessible worldwide through the ABS MyFreedom portal.

EagleTwin also features tools for gauging planning and CAD-based assessments, improving accuracy and efficiency in structural evaluations.
