Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has been awarded a contract for two of its vessels on a project in Argentina.
The project is scheduled for offshore operations across two campaigns, one in the second quarter and one in the third and fourth quarters of 2026.
The work will encompass mooring pre-lay, pipeline end-manifold installation and construction management, tie-in spool installation, hook-up and pre-commissioning of two CALM buoys, and diving services.
For the job, DOF will utilise the 2006-built AHTS Skandi Hera and the 2000-built CSV Skandi Patagonia with an expected combined duration of more than 250 days.
Preparations are underway, with DOF providing project management, engineering, construction management, logistics and offshore execution led by DOF’s North America subsea region.
The financial details are not precise, but DOF stated that the deal was substantial, which places it in the $25m to $50m range.
