Taiwanese container carrier Yang Ming has announced the launch of two new services aiming to strengthen its network in Europe and the Mediterranean region.

Starting in January 2025, Yang Ming will commence North Europe-Aegean Express (NEA) and North Europe-Levant Express (NEL) services, providing a more comprehensive and faster service network to meet the growing market demand in Europe.

NEA service will connect Europe and the Aegean Sea region, utilizing four vessels to provide a 28-day fixed weekly rotation.

The port rotation of NEA will be London Gateway (UK) – Antwerp (Belgium) – Rotterdam (Netherlands) – Piraeus (Greece) – Istanbul (Turkey) – Gebze (Turkey) – Gemlik (Turkey) – Aliaga (Turkey) – Piraeus – London Gateway.

Additionally, NEL service will link Europe with the Levant region, with four container ships deployed on a 28-day fixed weekly schedule.

The port rotation of NEL will be London Gateway – Rotterdam – Hamburg (Germany) – Antwerp – El-Dekheila (Egypt) – Damietta (Egypt) – Mersin (Turkey) – London Gateway.
