
Official opening in Nairobi
Yusen Logistics Global Management (YLGM) and Africa Global Logistics (AGL) officially launched Yusen Africa (East Africa) Limited at an opening ceremony in Nairobi, Kenya.
More than 100 guests attended, including Kenyan government officials, diplomats, business leaders, and partners.

Yusen Africa will operate from Kenya as a regional hub and serve the wider East African market.

YLGM President Hiroyuki Okamoto said the launch shows a long-term commitment to Africa and will help customers grow across the region.
AGL’s Eric Melet said the partnership will deliver more integrated and high-value logistics solutions.
Japan’s Ambassador to Kenya, Hiroshi Matsuura, said the venture will strengthen regional connectivity and economic development in East Africa.
