Höegh Autoliners has joined the World Shipping Council (WSC), strengthening the Council’s representation of the global liner shipping industry, including the vehicle carrier segment.

As trade patterns evolve and operating conditions become more complex, liner shipping needs globally aligned policies. Joining WSC allows us to work closely with peers and policymakers to support competitiveness, sustainability and resilient supply chains.”
Liner shipping carries around two-thirds of the value of global trade each year. WSC represents more than 90% of global liner shipping capacity across container, vehicle carrier and roll-on/roll-off services.
Through its members, WSC works with governments and international organizations to promote safe, secure and environmentally sustainable shipping worldwide.
