Malaysian offshore services company Vantris Energy has secured work orders for offshore transportation and installation in Malaysia from Petronas Carigali, with a combined contract value of approximately RM1.4bn ($345m).
Vantris, formerly Sapura Energy, stated in a Bursa Malaysia filing that it secured the contract through its subsidiary, Sapura Offshore.
The awards comprise the provision of transport and installation services for offshore facilities at the Sepat Integrated Redevelopment Project and the Belud South Greenfield Development Project.
Both work orders will start in the first quarter of 2026. The Belud South scope is set to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2027, while the Sepat scope is set to be completed in the third quarter of 2029. These operations will be executed by the group’s engineering and construction arm.
