Fincantieri has launched Seven Seas Prestige™ at its Marghera shipyard, marking a new step in ultra-luxury cruise shipbuilding.

The vessel is the first of two next-generation ships Fincantieri is building for Regent Seven Seas Cruises®. The ship is scheduled for delivery in 2026. A second vessel will follow in 2030. The two companies have also confirmed an additional order for a third ultra-luxury ship, due for delivery in 2033.

Seven Seas Prestige™ measures 257 metres in length and has a gross tonnage of 76,550 tons. The ship will carry 822 passengers in 411 all-suite accommodations, offering one of the highest space-to-guest ratios in the cruise industry.

Fincantieri says the ship sets a new standard for luxury and comfort. It will feature new suite designs, expanded dining concepts, and exclusive onboard services. The vessel will also include advanced environmental technologies aimed at improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions.

Fincantieri and Regent Seven Seas Cruises have worked together for more than a decade. The shipbuilder previously delivered Seven Seas Explorer® in 2016, Seven Seas Splendor® in 2020, and Seven Seas Grandeur® in 2023, with construction carried out at the Sestri Ponente and Ancona shipyards.
