Dubai-based ports and logistics player DP World is drawing its core marine services units under one global identity, retiring the long-standing Unifeeder, P&O Ferrymasters and P&O Maritime Logistics brands.
The three businesses will now operate as Shipping Solutions, Multimodal Solutions and Maritime Solutions. Over the coming months, the new names will roll out across digital channels, vessels, facilities and customer-facing platforms. Management teams, fleets and service offerings remain in place.
The rebrand marks another step in DP World’s shift from a port operator to an integrated logistics player and follows brand integrations across its ports and terminals, economic zones, and logistics businesses.
DP World said bringing these operations under one brand will allow it to offer more streamlined multimodal connectivity and a clearer promise to customers seeking reliable, integrated cargo movement.
Group chairman and CEO Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem said the company is building “a future where trade flows effortlessly,” noting that the consolidation brings DP World’s marine services fully in line with earlier integration moves across terminals, economic zones and logistics arms.
Ganesh Raj, global COO for Marine Services, said the move responds to customer demand for seamless, end-to-end service delivery, adding that the unified identity positions the group for growth as supply chains become more complex.
Shipping Solutions, formerly Unifeeder, runs a 150-strong feeder and shortsea fleet ranging from 350 to 8,500 teu and connects more than 200 ports through over 16,000 annual calls. Multimodal Solutions oversees more than 100 rail routes across Europe and the UK, 14 inland terminals and dedicated industrial corridors supporting specialised cargo flows across road, rail and sea. Maritime Solutions manages a fleet of more than 400 vessels, including 17 MCVs for project cargo, and provides towage and pilotage in ports worldwide.
