Starting in early 2026, Russia’s Ametist Line will inaugurate a new shuttle service connecting Novorossiysk and Izmir. The service will operate with a single 500 TEU vessel. This vessel is currently deployed on a Novorossiysk–Mersin–Beirut route, which may be discontinued as a result of the new service.

In addition to the new shuttle, Ametist Line runs three other single-vessel loops, with capacities of 700 TEU or 900 TEU, all anchored at Novorossiysk. These loops connect Novorossiysk with:

  1. Ambarli and Gebze

  2. Mersin and Alexandria

  3. Haifa and Ashdod

The new Novorossiysk-Izmir service strengthens Ametist Line’s presence in the Black Sea–Eastern Mediterranean trade, providing more options for regional shippers and enhancing connectivity between key ports.
