
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey today announced that its commercial airports recorded their third-busiest October ever, welcoming 12.3 million passengers despite Federal Aviation Administration challenges related to the government shutdown.
The Port of New York and New Jersey sustained its status as the nation’s second-busiest port for loaded containers year-to-date.
Over the first 10 months of the year, the Port of New York and New Jersey was the nation’s second-busiest cargo gateway for loaded TEUs.
It handled 5,011,322 loaded TEUs from January through October.
