Inchcape Shipping Services has opened a new office in Geoje, Korea, increasing its South Korea presence to three locations, alongside Seoul and Busan. The office enhances coverage of 23 ports nationwide and positions Inchcape at the heart of Korea’s shipbuilding and offshore sector.
Geoje is a strategic hub for LNG carriers, container ships, naval vessels, and offshore platforms. Inchcape has supported major projects in the region, including FPSO sail-away operations, drillship logistics, naval vessel coordination, and offshore wind deployments.
Sichang Lee, Korea Country Manager, said the Geoje office brings Inchcape closer to customers and strengthens support for complex offshore and maritime operations. The office will focus on Government & Defence and Marine & Offshore markets while Seoul continues to serve liner, tanker, bulk, cruise, and crew logistics segments.
Services offered include port and protective agency services, crew logistics, offshore project support, customs clearance, vessel husbandry, surveying, bunkering, P&I, port captaincy, visa and immigration support, and corporate event coordination.
The expansion reinforces Inchcape’s commitment to combining global reach with local expertise, ensuring seamless maritime and offshore project support.
