The Port of Fredericia in Denmark has completed a major expansion, adding 230 metres of quay line and 7 hectares of yard space, extending the terminal to 485 metres of quay with 15 hectares overall. The expanded facility is fully equipped with mobile harbour cranes.
At the same time, APM Terminal has acquired a 39% stake in the terminal from Associated Danish Ports (ADP), which retains 1%. The remaining 60% continues to be owned by Fredericia Shipping, the terminal’s operator.
The expansion and investment strengthen the terminal’s handling capacity, improve operational efficiency, and enhance its role in Denmark’s container and logistics network.
