The LEGO Group, the world’s largest toy company, has expanded its partnership with Kuehne+Nagel by launching a new distribution centre in Truganina, located in Victoria, southeastern Australia.
Covering 26,500 square meters and capable of storing 26,000 pallets, the facility will support both B2C and B2B operations for LEGO customers across Australia and New Zealand. The distribution centre is equipped with advanced automation to streamline operations and promote sustainability. This includes carton-reducing technology aimed at minimizing packaging and waste.

This new world-class distribution centre in Truganina will allow us to continue with our expansion plans for this very important market as we strive to reach more kids and adults with our iconic LEGO bricks,” commented Troy Taylor, Vice President & General Manager for LEGO Australia.
Additionally, the facility features dual 100kW solar panels to lower electricity consumption and feed excess energy back to the grid. Water-saving technologies also support the facility’s amenities and landscaping.
The distribution centre has earned a 5-star Green Star Rating, reflecting “Australian excellence” in sustainable building practices, as recognized by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA).
