KLN Logistics Group Limited, through KLN Project, is driving major progress on Libya’s Wellhead Platform A (WHPA) in the Bahr Essalam field. The project, worth over HK$10 billion, is one of the Mediterranean’s largest offshore EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation) developments.
Mellitah Oil & Gas Company appointed KLN as consortium leader. The project began in early 2024 and is set for completion in 2027. Between June and July 2025, KLN completed the “first cut” for the topside, jacket, and living quarters of the 20,000-ton gas production platform.
“Two years into the WHPA project, we are proud of its strong progress,” said Marco Oriolo, CEO of Global Industrial Projects at KLN Project. “This milestone shows our expertise in delivering complex offshore projects with safety, quality, and efficiency.”
KLN manages project oversight, equipment procurement, and offshore installation. Its integrated approach keeps the project on schedule and ensures reliable delivery.
KLN Project operates across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. The WHPA project boosts Libya’s offshore infrastructure and supports Europe’s energy needs. It also reflects KLN’s strategy to expand sustainable, end-to-end energy solutions and drive global growth.
