Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) recorded a 25.9% year-on-year decline in revenue for the third quarter of 2025, generating US$2.26 billion. The carrier’s total liftings rose slightly by 0.7%, while loadable capacity increased by 4.2%. However, the overall load factor fell 2.8%, and average revenue per TEU dropped 26.5% compared to the same period last year.
For the first nine months of 2025, OOCL’s revenue declined 8.3% year-on-year, with liftings up 4.7% and capacity up 6.7%. The company’s load factor slipped 1.5%, while average revenue per TEU was down 12.4%.
