Imabari Shipbuilding delivered the NAVE OHANA, a 52,000 DWT product tanker built at its Minaminippon Shipbuilding yard.
Cargo Handling
The vessel can load IMO Type II and III chemical products. Each tank has an independent submerged pump, allowing up to six cargoes to be handled simultaneously. Its frameless tank design improves cleaning efficiency and reduces residual oil.
Environmental Features
NAVE OHANA meets MARPOL and Ballast Water Management Convention standards. It is equipped for IMO NOx Tier III compliance and already meets Phase 3 CO₂ reduction targets ahead of schedule.
Propulsion
Energy-saving devices, high-efficiency propellers, and low-friction hull coatings enable excellent fuel economy and a service speed of about 14.5 knots.
The 184.94-meter-long vessel is classed by NK and sails under the Panama flag.
