Danelec, part of the GTT Group, has launched the DM100 VDR G3, the latest version of its Voyage Data Recorder platform. Designed for modern shipping, it offers enhanced safety, compliance, and connectivity for vessel operations.
Building on over 20 years of experience, the DM100 VDR G3 features upgraded robustness, smarter diagnostics, and cloud-ready connectivity. It captures high-bandwidth data from bridge and engine systems, supports remote diagnostics, and integrates seamlessly with Danelec Safety Insights and the Danelec Service App.
“VDRs are no longer just regulatory devices—they’re a central source of operational intelligence,” said Christian Kock, EVP Safety at Danelec. “The DM100 VDR G3 combines safety-critical resilience with advanced connectivity, preparing shipowners for future challenges in cybersecurity, AI, and data transparency.”
The system is built for all vessel types, from cruise ships to offshore and naval vessels, and comes with a global service network, stocked spares, and a three-year warranty with lifecycle support through 2040.
