Carrier Transicold has unveiled its all-electric Pulsor eCool refrigeration unit in India at the REFCOLD Cold Chain Exhibition in New Delhi. The event gathered thousands of visitors and industry leaders, focusing on sustainable and energy-efficient cold chain technologies.
“The Pulsor eCool is a major step forward in efficient and smart refrigeration,” said Pankaj Mehta, Managing Director of Truck Trailer India, Carrier Transicold. “It is designed for India’s fast-changing logistics market and supports the growing shift to electric vehicle-compatible solutions.”
The Pulsor eCool offers strong cooling and heating performance, cutting cargo box pre-cooling time by up to 31% compared to competitors. It uses a high-efficiency inverter compressor and a patented heat dissipation system to lower energy use while boosting output. Its lightweight 99-kg design and aerodynamic features help reduce drag, improving vehicle efficiency and cutting fuel or power consumption. Carrier claims the system delivers up to 32% total energy savings.
Inside the cargo box, temperature stays precise thanks to Carrier’s intelligent frequency conversion algorithm. The unit achieves ±1℃ accuracy, even with stacked cargo. A tilted evaporator fan improves air circulation and temperature distribution.
The Pulsor eCool comes with the new Intellitrix Controller. It features a 3.2-inch display, data logging, and four operating modes, Standard, Strong Cooling, Low Noise, and Energy Saving, giving operators flexibility to match performance to specific needs. The unit also connects to Carrier’s Lynx Fleet digital platform, allowing remote monitoring, diagnostics, and control.
With the launch of the Pulsor eCool, Carrier strengthens its focus on clean, intelligent refrigeration solutions that help customers improve delivery speed, reduce energy costs, and prepare for an electric future.
