The Korea Shipowners’ Association (KSA) has voiced objections to a possible attempt by South Korea’s largest steel maker, POSCO, to take a major stake in the country’s national shipping line HMM.
On 8 September, POSCO said it had formed an advisory team with Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Boston Consulting Group to explore the feasibility of acquiring HMM.
