Link Logistics is revolutionizing the industrial real estate industry in part by prioritizing one key factor: making it easier to talk to customers. While it may seem simple, personal relationships are often overlooked in the space. In empowering customers to speak their minds, Link Logistics has been able to create a technological solution that cuts to the heart of the industry’s traditional challenges.

“We have had the opportunity to bring together a bunch of experienced, seasoned real estate operators who came to Link with the idea that we were going to do something different and innovative,” Link Logistics CAO Sonya Huffman said.

Link Logistics is a leading owner of last-mile logistics real estate designed to meet the needs of the modern supply chain., and its tech-powered approach reflects that. The company has a strong focus on utilizing innovative solutions to grow relationships and enhance efficiencies for both customers and the firm. This focus is reflected in the technology Link Logistics is able to develop and deploy–particularly Link+, a self-service portal that makes it easy for clients to do things like pay rent or submit maintenance requests at any time.

Since the firm’s founding in 2019, Link Logistics has been working to change the industry by offering the transparency and tech-enabled self-service options its customers crave. As a result, the company is helping create a spirit of trust while redefining the traditional landlord-tenant relationship.

When Link Logistics was first getting off the ground, the company invested heavily in getting to know its customers. During this time, the firm discovered that its clients wanted more transparency in their real estate dealings, as well as more autonomy to complete tasks on their own time.

Link Logistics took that feedback seriously and set out to build Link+. , which gives customers access to important information about their lease or space right at their fingertips.

“We thought first and foremost about making the Link+ experience frictionless as we wanted to develop technology that grows with both Link and the customer,” Link Logistics CTO Clark Ardern said.

Link Logistics’ customer-centric approach worked. Adoption of Link+ – which can be accessed online or via mobile app – has soared to over 80%, according to Huffman. The company’s previous portal, by contrast, hovered around a 7-8% adoption rate.

Now, Link+ serves as another avenue to collect customer feedback. As users navigate within the portal, they can provide feedback for Link Logistics, which is then reviewed and addressed by the firm’s dedicated Customer Experience team. Customers are also prompted to leave reviews immediately after service requests are closed, enabling Link Logistics to see what is – or isn’t – working in real time.

Notably, Link+ was designed from the ground up to be dynamic and expandable. This means that users can access all of Link Logistics’ current and future offerings through the same channel, eliminating the need to install multiple apps or visit multiple sites.

This promise of future simplicity is part of what makes Link+l so innovative. Creating a truly frictionless experience is a first for industrial real estate–one that will redefine what customers expect from their real estate partners.

“I think the foundation of Link is based on prioritizing customer relationships and building a platform of trust,” Huffman said. “It has been a big investment.”

Link Logistics’ investment in serving its customers goes beyond the buildings they work in. Recently, the firm announced its Energy Solutions program, featuring a dashboard accessed through Link+. The Energy Solutions program allows Link Logistics to deploy capital that creates value for its real estate and reduces expenses for customers. Link Logisticsis continuously working to reduce its cost to serve, allowing the company to focus on helping its customers grow their own businesses while simultaneously providing a level of transparency people do not typically expect from their landlords.

As Link Logistics continues to grow, so too will its efforts to change the face of industrial real estate.
