The Port of Chancay has reached a new milestone with the arrival of the LIAO HE KOU, the largest RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) vessel ever to call at the port. During a carefully planned, efficient, and safe operation, the vessel successfully unloaded more than 1,700 vehicles.
This landmark operation highlights the Port of Chancay’s ability to manage increasingly complex and high-volume cargo activities. It further consolidates COSCO SHIPPING Ports Chancay Perú (Puerto de Chancay) as a benchmark in the region and a strategic hub for South America’s maritime trade.
By successfully handling the largest RoRo vessel in its history, the Port of Chancay demonstrates its commitment to operational excellence, efficiency, and safety while strengthening its role in regional and global shipping networks.
