COSCO SHIPPING Ports Limited (CSPL) reported a 4.2% year-on-year rise in total container throughput in August 2025, excluding QPI and CTT.
Terminals in China’s Southwest region led growth with a 12.4% increase, followed by the Pearl River Delta with 4.9%. Overseas terminals grew 7.7%, with CSP Zeebrugge Terminal surging 32.8% year-on-year.
Throughput at subsidiaries fell 1.5%, while non-subsidiaries (excluding QPI and CTT) gained 6.6%.
From January to August 2025, CSPL’s total throughput rose 5.5% year-on-year. Subsidiaries were up 2.5%, while non-subsidiaries climbed 6.7%. China terminals grew 4.2%, and overseas terminals rose 8.4%.
