COSCO SHIPPING Europe has completed the delivery of components for the 800th Airbus A320 aircraft to Tianjin. The cargo arrived on August 11 aboard the vessel COSCO SHIPPING Sagittarius and was transferred to Airbus’ final assembly line for completion.
The shipment marked another milestone in the long-running logistics partnership between Airbus and COSCO SHIPPING. The journey spanned more than 20,000 kilometers from Hamburg to Tianjin and involved a full end-to-end logistics solution. This included barge and inland transport in Europe, container shipping, and onward delivery to Airbus facilities in China.
COSCO SHIPPING emphasized that every component was handled with the highest care to ensure safe, stable, and efficient transportation.
