Victoria International Container Terminal has signed a new enterprise agreement with local unions that will cover all operations through March 2029.

The deal was concluded without any disruption, underscoring the strong working relationship between VICT and its workforce while providing a stable foundation for future growth.

Bruno Porchietto, VICT Chief Executive Officer, highlighted the collaborative approach commenting that the agreement not only secures meaningful benefits for employees, but also provides VICT with the flexibility needed to serve our customers and adapt to evolving industry demands.

The four-year agreement delivers enhanced benefits and working conditions for employees, while also embedding greater flexibility in line with customer and industry requirements.

It establishes a secure industrial relations framework designed to support both operational growth and innovation.

For VICT, the agreement ensures continuity and stability across operations, strengthening its ability to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable container handling services.

For employees, it provides long-term security and improved benefits, while customers gain from the certainty and consistency required in today’s competitive supply chain environment.

The agreement is viewed as a win-win outcome, balancing employee well-being with business resilience and customer service excellence.
