GXO appoints Patrick Kelleher as Chief Executive Officer

GXO Logistics has announced the appointment of Patrick Kelleher as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective August 19, 2025.

Kelleher joins GXO with more than three decades of global supply chain leadership, having spent much of his career at DHL Supply Chain, a division of Deutsche Post DHL Group. Most recently, he served as CEO for North America, where he led substantial growth and operational enhancements across the region.

His background includes deep expertise in engineered solutions, automation, transportation, and supply chain planning, along with experience leading strategic initiatives across key sectors such as consumer goods, healthcare, technology, ecommerce, and manufacturing.

Brad Jacobs, Chairman of GXO’s Board of Directors, welcomed the appointment, stating that his leadership in automation and logistics innovation, combined with his strong track record of execution, makes him exceptionally well-suited to guide GXO through its next phase of growth.

Commenting on his new role, Kelleher said that he looks forward to collaborating with the talented team to further strengthen their capabilities, drive growth, and deliver exceptional value to the customers and shareholders.

During his time at DHL, Kelleher also served as global Chief Development Officer and CEO, Americas for Williams Lea Tag under DHL’s ownership. He played a key role in deploying advanced robotics, including Boston Dynamics’ Stretch Robot, and led four merger and acquisition transactions within a single year underscoring his impact on both innovation and expansion.
