On Tuesday, September 30th, 2025, the 11th ShipIT Conference sets sail once again from the “PLOES” venue in Paleo Faliro, Athens, placing at the forefront the strategic dialogue around digitalization, decarbonization, and cybersecurity in the maritime and port sectors.

Now in its 11th consecutive edition, this leading conference has firmly established itself as a key platform for technological advancement and sustainable development in both Greek and international shipping. The event is organized by BOUSSIAS Events and the Association of Maritime Managers in Information Technology and Communication (AMMITEC), under the auspices of the Hellenic Institute of Marine Technology (ELINT).

Participation is free of charge for personnel from maritime companies, providing a valuable opportunity for decision-makers makers from I.C.T, O.T, Performance, Energy & Efficiency, Operational, Cyber Security departments, technology providers, regulators, and other industry professionals to exchange insights, strategies, and best practices that shape the future of the sector.

The conference agenda includes presentations, panel discussions, and thematic sessions focusing on three core pillars:

  • innovative technologies for vessel performance optimization
  • the role of secure digital tools in achieving decarbonization goals
  • the implementation of digitalization in compliance with cybersecurity requirements

Within this year’s conference, participants will explore emerging solutions such as the application of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Automation, and IIoT for voyage & operational optimization; data management and business intelligence for informed decision-making; and the growing importance of connectivity in digital maritime operations. Topics will also include the resilience of maritime infrastructures to cyberattacks, monitoring and response systems in OT environments, as well as real-world examples from smart ports and evolving business models across the shipping industry.

With 10 successful editions to date, more than 300 speakers, dozens of international participants, and thousands of attendees, the ShipIT Conference 2025 aspires to set new standards for strengthening industry competitiveness amidst today’s environmental and technological challenges.
