AD Ports Group, a global leader in trade, logistics, and industry, has announced the rebranding of Maqta Gateway to Maqta Technologies Group.

This transformation reflects the company’s strategic focus on digitalizing global trade through innovation, collaboration, and investment.

Maqta Technologies Group will consolidate AD Ports Group’s Digital Cluster capabilities under a unified master brand, encompassing Maqta Gateway, TTEK (customs modernization solutions), Dubai Technologies (trade and transport solutions), Maqta Ayla (a maritime digitalization joint venture in Aqaba), and Nishan Security Services (smart security solutions).

Dr. Noura Al Dhaheri, CEO of Maqta Technologies Group and Digital Cluster- AD Ports Group, commented: “As we continue to scale up our efforts to make global trade more transparent, efficient, and sustainable the launch of Maqta Technologies Group marks a key milestone. Governments and private businesses anywhere in the world can leverage our unique value proposition of combined local and international expertise in digitalising multimodal end-to-end trade value chains.

“Maqta Technologies’ mixed portfolio of investments and solutions allows us to stay nimble in a fast-changing world, where rapid disruptive technological innovations are a norm. We will continue to build on this foundation and enhance its commerciality to accelerate trade digitalisation, under the directives of our wise leadership.”

Building on the strong foundation established by Maqta Gateway, Maqta Technologies Group will continue as the trusted leader in digital transformation for AD Ports Group. It will also support government entities and private businesses across the trade value chain with highly secure and innovative solutions for smart ports, maritime operations, trade facilitation, integrated logistics, and intelligent mobility. These services will align with global efficiency standards and deliver exceptional service quality.

With a focus on expanding its global commercial presence, Maqta Technologies Group will remain involved in overseeing its strategy, planning, and operational, commercial, and financial performance.

Furthermore, Dr. Noura Al Dhaheri will lead the group alongside the executive team, driving strategic initiatives, creating new revenue streams, enhancing existing ones, and improving operational efficiencies.

In the coming weeks, Maqta Technologies Group will launch a phased rebranding initiative to update the brand across all major assets, including the Maqta Gateway headquarters, known as the ‘Digital District,’ and TTEK’s office in Vietnam. This gradual approach ensures minimal disruption to ongoing operations and stakeholder interactions.
