Energy giant BP has awarded energy services group Kent a global three-year engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCm) framework contract.
The contract includes options for two additional two-year extensions and positions Kent as a key partner in delivering project services across BP’s global asset portfolio.
The framework covers the full scope of EPCm services, supporting asset lifecycle, from small and large projects to minor modifications. The framework will encompass BP’s global portfolio of both offshore and onshore projects.
The new framework added to Kent’s existing contracts with BP, including concept and FEED engineering services and a global commissioning framework.
This is not the first multi-year contract awarded by an energy giant in 2024. Earlier this year, the company won a global three-year enterprise framework agreement with Shell.
The contract is for the provision of commissioning and start-up services across various onshore and offshore projects as well as a wide range of energy sectors, including oil, gas, and new energy initiatives.
