HPC Hamburg Port Consulting, in collaboration with software provider Prodevelop and local partner Plisk Consulting, celebrates the successful post-implementation health check of Georgia’s National Maritime Single Window (MSW).
In addition, this innovative digital platform represents a major transformation in Georgia’s maritime industry, streamlining operations for over 400 users across the country’s maritime community. The health check confirmed the system’s robust performance, marking the end of paper-based processes and ushering in a new era of transparency and interagency collaboration. This milestone positions Georgia as a critical logistics hub in the Middle Corridor and a strategic gateway to Europe.
Developed in compliance with International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations and European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) standards, the MSW significantly enhances Georgia’s Logistics Index.
By enabling seamless communication among maritime stakeholders, reducing paperwork, and providing transparent operational data, the platform fosters situational awareness and operational efficiency. It also lays the groundwork for potential integration with the SafeSeaNet (SSN) system, solidifying Georgia’s standing as a leader in regional maritime innovation.
Furthermore, with the implementation of the MSW, Georgia joins an elite 2% of global maritime communities that have fully digitized their processes. This advancement boosts both security and operational efficiency by eliminating redundant procedures and easing administrative burdens for ship agents, port authorities, and other stakeholders.
